The Moscow Classical Ballet will be returning for the 4th consecutive year to the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville for a performance of the holiday classic , "The Nutcracker", December 19-21, 2014.
Originally established in 1968, this brilliant troupe has won more than 15 Gold Medals from international competitions and three prizes at the Paris Academy of Dance. Recently, the company was granted the title of "Academic Theatre" by the Russian government, a prestigious title only granted to a few top Russian ballet companies. The Moscow Classical Ballet remains one of the few Russian ballet companies still supported by the Russian government. Regularly performing at the Kremlin Palace of Congresses in Moscow, they have also performed in more than 30 countries around the world and over 200 cities in Russia. They have toured their production of "The Nutcracker" in the United States every year for over 15 years.
This production is a must-see for every family & is appropriate for all ages. Beautiful scenery, costumes & amazing dancers make this live performance a family favorite. Local children will also take part in this performance.
