Happy Family: Healthy, Organic & Delicious Food for Your Family

By Kara Ault, Macaroni Kid Fayetteville Publisher April 11, 2017

Last week, we hosted a Happy Family party with several mom friends & their babies, toddlers & preschoolers at Imagine-A Child's Adventureworld.

Happy Family sent us several baby & toddler snack products to review and sent this beautiful cookbook full of healthy recipes all ages can enjoy. At the heart of Happy Family is their enlightened nutrition approach. Their goal is to make every bite really count by starting with the highest quality organic fruits, vegetables, meats and grains. They believe that organic is so important, but it’s just the beginning. Some of their enlightened ingredients include: nutrient-rich ancient seeds/grains like amaranth, quinoa and chia, coconut milk, and probiotics plus age-appropriate essential nutrients like choline, DHA, and vitamin D to support every stage of development.

Prior to the party, I made a couple of recipes from the Happy Family Cookbook. I made bran apricot muffins and pinwheel cream cheese roll-ups (shown on the cover to the right). The moms and kids enjoyed both recipes. The cookbook is packed with delicious recipes that include plenty of photos, alternative ingredient suggestions for kids with food allergies and gluten-free options. Recipes in the book are easily sorted into sections for babies, toddlers & up, starting with purees for infants.

Last year, Happy Family launched Clearly Crafted, a new line of transparent pouches with premium organic recipes for babies.  Parents love that they can see the contents of the package. Happy Family is also the first organic brand of baby food to list its recipes directly on the packaging. They proudly show what parents want to know – what’s inside the pouch.

Overall, we were impressed with the healthy snacks, finger foods & pouches Happy Family offers and think their approach to making nutrition delicious is so important. Happy Family products are sold at Whole Foods, Target, Babies r Us and other nutritional food stores as well as on Amazon and Diapers.com.

You can purchase the Happy Family cookbook on Amazon or on the Happy Family website here.
