Macaroni Mom Review: The Jones Center in Springdale

By Beth Oloffson, Macaroni Kid Reader and Local Mom December 14, 2019

The focus of this review is a Springdale treasure- The Jones Center! It is located at 922 East Emma Avenue, not far from the Rodeo of the Ozarks and the Springdale Municipal Airport. They have a great website www.thejonescenter.net that details all facility amenities. I love their motto: "All are welcome who behave as ladies and gentlemen." :)

This is truly a place for everyone in our community and there is something for every interest here. They offer meeting space, corporate and team building, gymnastics, a newly remodeled fitness center, birthday parties, fitness classes, pools, ice skating and the newest addition- a state of the art outdoor bicycle skills training area with a pump track, skills course and bicycle playground. It is the largest asphalt track in North America!

The ice rink offers public skating, hockey, learn to ice skate, figure skating and curling! The pools include a leisure pool with a slide and a Junior Olympic lap pool.

In the past our family has participated in a variety of special activities here, from toddler tennis, a baby expo, music and movement class, Summer camps, adult league indoor soccer Futsal, birthday parties, kids obstacle course, tae kwon do classes, farmer's market, craft fairs, among others. There are constantly new activities and offerings.

My son recently celebrated his 8th birthday party at the Jones Center. He chose a gym birthday with a soccer game and Nerf war. This was the perfect no-fuss party option for us and the boys who attended were WORN OUT! It was easy to book the party and the $150 party fee was reasonable. All of the details regarding the party were shared in writing and in advance, so as a Mom, I felt completely prepared and aware of how the day would go. We didn't have to worry about the day's weather or cleaning our house. Score!

The Jones Center is large and beautiful facility and is a true gift to our community. I hope you will check it out!
