I hope you are all having a great week. I wanted to drop a personal note in to let you know I'm sorry this week's newsletter is 2 days late! If you've been a subscriber a while, you may remember that in 2019 I won Macaroni Kid Publisher of the Year. The prize for winning that award was a trip for my family to the brand new Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville Resort in Cancun. Because the resort was scheduled to open in March 2020 just as the pandemic hit the world, the trip was delayed. The resort was kind enough to extend our voucher until this summer. My family and I are vaccinated and the resort has taken many precautions to ensure the safety of all guests. We were all set to go this coming Monday and in the process of getting passports for my kids and husband, I neglected to notice mine wasn't where I keep it. :( I spent almost all of last week searching home, luggage, cars, etc to no avail. Long story short, getting a replacement passport right now is extremely difficult and I had to drive to Dallas Thursday night to go to the passport center there yesterday morning and get my passport. But I got it! I drove back from Dallas all day yesterday and now I'm finally getting your newsletter out to you!
I will be posting a lot of photos and videos from the resort and it would be awesome if you interact, like and comment on some of them! This helps me out as a publisher and I will write a review when I get back home on Friday about what all this all-inclusive place offers for families.

With the kids out of school, I find it easier on all of us if I find fun outings for us to do during the week and it helps keep my kids from fighting so much, which saves my sanity. LOL
