November 11th marks the day we honor the men and women in the armed forces who have fought and sacrificed to preserve our freedom. Originally proclaimed Armistice Day in 1919 to commemorate the end of World War I, it was renamed Veterans Day, to include American veterans of all wars, in 1954 after World War II. Please join Macaroni Kid of Northwest Arkansas in showing our gratitude for all our overseas troops and veterans who have served our country. My grandpa was a World War II veteran who proudly served as a tailgunner on a B17. I am so grateful for his service and all who serve. Great Clips- On November 11, retired and active service members can visit any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card. Additionally, non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at a Great Clips salon will receive a free haircut card to give to a service member in thanks for their service. The free haircut cards can be redeemed through December 10, 2021.
