The Jones Center Extends its Popular Exhibition “The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Experience” to 2023

Hours for Immersive, STEM-based Experience Also Extended To Accommodate Growing Number of Groups & Parties

The Jones Center has extended its interactive, STEM-based exhibition The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Experience through the first of the year. Housed at The JTL Shop in downtown Springdale, the exhibition has been extended through January 12, 2023.

Evening and weekend hours have also been extended to accommodate the growing number of bookings for parties and group events.

“We’re pleased by the community’s response – not only by kids and families, but by the variety of groups who are hosting events,” Terri Trotter, Jones Center President & CEO, said. “Because the exhibition is science-based, teachers are bringing their students on class field trips. And with the holiday season on the horizon, we’re seeing an uptick in bookings for parties, gatherings and other events.”

Based on the bestselling The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook series, the exhibition is a hands-on/minds-on experience that engages all ages in active problem-solving and hilarious, full-body play. Need to land a plane, escape quicksand, or outsmart a mountain lion? The exhibition lets you put your real-world survival skills to the test, with plenty of laughter and excitement along the way. Spanning 5,000+ square feet of gallery space, it is presented in English and Spanish, with materials available in Marshallese.

New hours make the exhibition available exclusively for groups Monday through Wednesday while extending evening hours for the public on Thursday and Friday. For a complete listing of hours, visit thejonescenter.net/special-exhibitions
