Fayetteville Library is proud to partner with Neighborhood Forest to give away free baby trees for Earth Day this year.
Trees for Kids. We are excited to announce our participation in Neighborhood Forest's 16th Annual Free Tree Program! Parents are invited to sign their children up to receive a free baby tree that they can plant during Earth Week (April 22–27). Online registration is open through March 15.
Since 2010, Neighborhood Forest has planted over 197,000 trees through their Free Tree Program! Their goal is to beautify neighborhoods, reduce our carbon footprint, and help instill a sense of magic, wonder, and love for our planet in the hearts of little ones! 🌟
Instructions on tree pickup, planting and caring for the trees, and species details will be emailed to registrants after March 15. You can also find helpful information, including FAQs, on Neighborhood Forest's website, under 'Resources.'
Please reach out to our Youth Services team at kidsquestions@faylib.org if you have any questions or need help signing up!
