The festival is held on the grounds of the historic Cane Hill College, west of Hwy. 45. Cane Hill is west of Fayetteville, east of Tahlequah, Okla. and north of Fort Smith. Locals will demonstrate making lye soap, hominy and sorghum molasses. Come watch, listen, relax and enjoy the lifestyle of yesterday. . See how they make sorghum molasses, lye soap and hominy. Listen to stories about Cane Hill and watch as history unfolds before your eyes. Cane Hill College is the oldest college west of the Mississippi and just completed a total renovation last year.
Cane Hill Harvest Festival is held on the grounds of the historic Cane Hill College, 14219 College Rd.(WC4762), Cane Hill, AR 72717. Located just off Hwy. 45 in Cane Hill, in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, west of Fayetteville and east of Tahlequah, OK.
