Description
In the heart of one of our City's most appreciated parks, the community gathers to enjoy a long standing tradition of outdoor live music and a food truck rally on six different occasions each summer. Hundreds of lounge chairs and blankets are scattered around the park to enjoy the atmosphere in countless ways. Family friendly music brings all walks of life together and spectators are encouraged to bring their "furry" friends as well.
. — The 23rd Annual Gulley Park Summer Concerts Series presented by Fayetteville Parks and Recreation and sponsored by Collier and Associates Real Estate brings Nashville native Devon Gilfillian and his soulful vibes to the stage this Thursday, June 13.
This summer, local and regional bands offering a variety of musical styles and talents join us on several Thursdays throughout the summer. The FREE concerts take place on the lawn near the Gulley Park gazebo from 7 to 9 p.m. It’s family friendly entertainment and well-behaved dogs are welcome. With hundreds of lounge chairs and blankets scattered around the park – you’re sure to enjoy the atmosphere in countless ways. We’ve added portable toilets to cut down and lines and get you back to enjoying the show. Food vendors will be on-site to feed the soul.
The remaining lineup features:
June 13 – Devon Gilfillian
June 27 – NWA Jazz and More with intermission performance by NWA Ballet Theatre
July 11 – Ultra Suede
July 25 – Mary-Heather & The Sinners
August 8 – Bryan TITUS Trio Band
Thanks to all the bands and fans who help to make the Gulley Park Summer Concert Series what it is – including our series sponsor Collier & Associates Reality, ‘Where real estate is done differently!’ Additional thanks to Raising Cane’s, our presenting sponsor. This year’s official hotel sponsor is Graduate Fayetteville. In-kind printing was provided by Hog Country Media. We want to also thank KUAF radio station for promoting the series. Big thanks go to our food vendors for this year’s concerts: BeaverTails, Burtons Creamery, Chowhound Street Grub, and CrackerJack. Also, we cannot forget Jth Productions for providing great sound and lighting at all our summer concerts.
