Greening of the Creek: NWA St Patrick’s Day Festival and Leprechaun Race
Springdale Rotary Club hosts its annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Downtown Springdale featuring the Leprechaun Duck Race.

Springdale Rotary is selling sponsorships of Leprechaun Floats for $10, available on the website springdalerotary.com. Then at 3:30 p.m. at Walter Turnbow Park in downtown Springdale, all the sponsored leprechauns will be dumped into the green waters of Spring Creek, which will flow green courtesy of the Springdale Water Department. The first leprechaun to cross the finish line will win its sponsor a "pot of gold" worth $1,000. Second place and third place will win $500 and $250 respectively for their sponsors.
