Little Sprouts is a nature-based program designed specifically for preschoolers that helps develop their appreciation and understanding of the natural world. Each session contains storytime, songs, and fun nature-themed crafts and activities. Whether we are harvesting vegetables to take home and taste, learning about how bees are more helpful than harmful, planting seeds, or exploring the garden with handmade binoculars, the children leave the garden with a sense of wonder for the world around them and a new connection to nature.
What's new for 2025?
We’ve made a few thoughtful updates to help make the Little Sprouts experience even more meaningful. Families can look forward to smaller group sizes, more hands-on planting and harvesting, and deeper connections with our educators. We’ve also added structured activities and learning materials to support children’s growth and love for the garden.
Who
Children under 2 or over 5 are welcome to participate in songs and story time with general garden admission, but hands-on activity supplies are reserved for Little Sprouts registrants.
Cost
Walk-up rate: $15-$20How
Walk-up spots are available as space allows. Day-of entry rates include Little Sprouts admission for one child and one adult and are $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
