It's time for one of our favorite annual traditions, the Washington County Fair! The Washington County Fair is the largest and most established county fair in Arkansas. Founded in 1857, The Washington County Fair is a reflection of the past decades of farmers, business leaders, volunteers and youth. From animals to carnival rides, you'll find fun for everyone in your family at the Washington County Fair.

The Washington County Fair, in Fayetteville just off of Hwy 112 (exit 66), opens Tuesday August 30 and runs through September 3. Tuesday night is $2 night, when you will get $2 gate admission and if you bring canned goods to be donated, you can also get $2 rides.

You'll find nightly specials and ticket prices on our calendar and HERE.

Kids 5 & under- Gate admission is always free. Carnival armbands for unlimited rides will be sold daily for $25.00.

You can follow the Washington County Fair on Facebook, Twitter and on Instagram (Mywashcofair)

The Washington County Fair has been in existence for over 150 years. The Fair Association consists of 19 board members and approximately 300 volunteers. The Fair's mission is to provide a competitive environment for the agricultural youth of Washington County to exhibit their 4-H and FFA sponsored projects. Last year, we paid out over $40,000 in ribbon money and hosted the Livestock Premium Auction that paid over $160,000 to 130 of the Washington County Fair’s best youth livestock exhibits.

Fair Secretary Natalie Bartholomew said "In the midst of urban sprawl and our crazy fast-paced lives, it's great to know that the number of junior exhibits continues to grow each year. The Fair offers families the opportunity to see the products of a year's worth of hard work from our county's youth by strolling through the livestock barns and horticulture and youth buildings as well as enjoy some fun food and rides while they are at it."

This annual Fayetteville tradition offers something for all ages. Enjoy funnel cakes & other carnival food, ride some rides with your family & stroll through the livestock barns to learn about animals. Enjoy the hambone pig races or the 4-wheeler rodeo. The possibilities for fun are endless at the Washington County Fair.
