McGarrah Farms Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch

One of the oldest family-owned farms in Northwest Arkansas will open their pick-your-own pumpkin patch for the season this Saturday, Sept 27th, 2014! McGarrah Farms pumpkin patch is located in Pea Ridge and open September 27th- Nov 2nd. The McGarrah family moved to this area in 1824 and have been farming here ever since. In addition to pick-your-own pumpkins, they have pumpkins already gathered from the field, Jack-be-little (miniature) pumpkins, Giant pumpkins, pie pumpkins and many varieties of gourds. You can also buy bales of straw & corn here. Pumpkin prices range from 50 cents to $40. McGarrah's is open to the public during these hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM-6:00 PM; Saturdays 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM; Sundays, Noon until 6:00 PM. Hayrides are offered every 20 minutes. 

McGarrah Farms pumpkin patch also has a new children's mule train ride for $2 and a grass maze with $2 admission. Admission to the pumpkin patch is $6 per person, which includes $6 worth of tickets to be used towards pumpkin purchases and/or rides. Children under 2 years of age are admitted for free.

There will be a Spook Night October 25th at the pumpkin patch.

Plan your next group event or birthday party at the Pumpkin Patch! McGarrah's offers the use of a large pole barn with picnic tables, exclusive hayride, mule train ride, tall grass maze, and use of our kids zone. Bon fires for marshmallow roasting are available for evening parties. Birthday Party Package: (Up to 15 children; $7 for each additional child after the first 15; adults enter for free) Cost: $150/ Deposit $50
Includes: entrance to the facility, use of large pole barn and picnic tables for 1.5 hours, 1 staff member, 1 small pumpkin for each child (additional charge for larger pumpkin depending on size and availability), 1 Mule Train ride for each child, 1 entry to the Tall Grass Maze for each person, a group hayride and the use of the play area.

Be sure to take a camera when you go as there will be ample opportunities for great photos of the kids in the pumpkin patch! Happy fall!
